Probably one of the best all inclusive my wife and I did. See below our main comments related to our stay at the Hyatt Zilara from 2025-12-15 to 2025-12-22. Pros - The room was amazing. The king bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the view on the pool and the beach was great. The best part of the room was however the shower - Spacious, modern and the water pressure in the shower was strong. - The beach was very nice, and we never had any trouble finding chairs with umbrellas (we were putting our towels on the chair around 8:15 AM). We also enjoyed the service at the chair (each 30 minutes, someone was coming to take our next order for drinks). - The food was really good. The hotel has 4 options (Buffet, Italian, Japanese and Caribbean). All 4 options were great, but our most favorite was the Japanese restaurant. - The hotel has a coffee shop opened from 6 AM to 11 PM. This is comparable to having a small "Star Bucks" free. Lucero served us every morning, and she was amazing. Nice espresso, and also nice options for snacking. We always went for the oatmeal cookies before going to the gym. - The gym was great, but the machines were not new. However, you had everything to train your full body. - The activities on the beach were nice. Fermin or the "Ferminator" is always there to make sure every one has a good time. Look for him if you're bored! - The shows at night were impressive for an all inclusive hotel. Don't expect to have a "Cirque du Soleil" experience...but you could see that they put the effort in the costumes, and in the performance of the artists. - The hotel has a sport bar and you can ask them to put whatever game you want to see. I'm a Habs fan (NHL) and I was able to watch each game while enjoying a whiskey on the rocks. Ask for Julio at the bar, you will be treated like a king! Cons - The hotel proposed us to go visit a new "sister" hotel in exchange of a $ 200 credit. We were tired when we arrived at the hotel, and we did not appreciate that the hotel tried to "sell us" something immediately when we arrived. The lady that spoke with us was however very kind and her explanations were clear. We just didn't want to have this discussion immediately after getting our keys to go to our room. - There is a lot of Kudamundi (Mexican racoons) on the site of the hotel. They are nice to watch and did not really bothered us until it started to rain. Our room was next to a three, and they used our balcony as a shelter during the night. When we woke up, we found excrements everywhere on the balcony, and on our bathing suits... The hotel cleaned our bathing suits free or charge, but this was frustrating. Conclusion We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Great Stay with Outstanding Staff
We had a great stay at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. It’s a smaller all-inclusive resort, which was perfect if you’re looking for something more relaxed and easy to navigate. The beach was absolutely beautiful and so easy to access from the resort—I loved that and spent so much time there. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable. Miguel at Tempest was incredibly kind, charismatic, and personable, and he turned our meals into an experience on two separate occasions. Raul at the check-in desk was also fantastic—he was super helpful multiple times and truly went above and beyond. Fermín and Hector on the entertainment team were also incredibly kind and kept things fun throughout our stay.

Great Food, Great Service, and a Relaxing Stay
We had a great time during our stay. The food was excellent—especially the Asian restaurant. It’s the perfect resort for anyone looking for a smaller, more intimate property with outstanding service and great food.

amazing staff and resort
The main strengths: the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the quality of the bed linen and towels. The constant attention to detail. The toilets are always clean, there are products in the bathroom, and the rooms are spotless. We would really like to thank the following members of staff who were fabulous Javier Sabula from the beach bar: extraordinarily helpful and friendly, he knew and remembered all the guests' habits. Miguel Martinez, Angel, and Daniel from the sushi bar and Tempest restaurant. Miguel advised us on Japanese dishes. José Luis Gonzalez from Lola restaurant was so helpful, professional, and welcoming. Renata from the concierge desk was simply fabulous. Constant attention for the detail. The bathrooms. The Coffee Republic staff, open at 6 a.m., and being greeted every day by the smiles of the team, who also remember the habits of their guests. You can have the most beautiful hotel, but these people made the difference in quality compared to other resorts. They are the Hyatt Zilara. An incredible team spirit. All the staff are proud to work for this hotel and do so with passion. Special mention must be made of the quality of the food and products: a unique manager, Mr. Benito Cordato, who constantly monitors the quality of presentation, cleanliness, service, and incredible hygiene in all restaurants. The hotel app is very useful and incredibly functional for information and reservations for the various restaurants. The person who takes care of the bath towels and works non-stop to satisfy us, the guests. I was lucky enough to have yoga and workout classes. The walk with Firmin and Hector is an excellent idea and very well explained, as is the aquagym. Perfect for a honey moon. For the excursions I will advice facebook and instagram omtransfer2022 (really good prices also the guide speaks spanish, germand and really good english)

Great place in paradise.
Absolutely a 4.5 star resort Food is very good drinks are also very good . Would definitely go back .the staff there was absolutely wonderful.
